Boarding Rates Per Day

Dogs $40.00/Day effective May 24, 2024

Medications $1.00/dose

We do not accept diabetic clients and do not administer insulin injections.

Boarding charges begin at drop off. You may drop your pet off any time during our normal business hours. Check out time is by 1 PM. If you pick up between 6-8 pm on Sunday there will be a charge for your exit day.

Please note that we are no longer accepting new cat clients. We also do not administer Insulin injections.

Please keep in mind that we have a very strict vaccination policy. We require current Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations for dogs. If your dog has never had the Bordetella vaccine or if there is more than a month since the expiration date there will be a 10 day waiting period from when they are vaccinated. No reservations are made until proof of all current vaccinations is provided. This can be done in person or through our email kennelsatcolumbus@gmail.com. Please note that we do not call your pet's veterinarian for vaccination records whether it be for initial reservation or for updates from a previous reservation.

You must supply the food for your dog. Food must be pre-bagged individually per serving, unless it's canned. We supply the food bowls, water pails and bedding for your pet. Please do not bring any blankets, beds, toys, or other personal items.

Amenities include heat and central air conditioning, room service, fresh bedding and water daily, spacious 4x6 foot indoor runs, and individual outside runs that are covered for inclement weather. All areas are cleaned and sanitized daily. Soothing music plays 24 hours per day.

Grooming

Our experienced groomer Laura, offers full grooming packages for all breeds of dogs. No tranquilizers are used at our salon, only loving care and patience. Our promise is "always gentle handling". Whether you want a bath and brush, stylish haircut, or full day at the pet spa, Kennels At Columbus has you covered. If your dog is not boarding you can also make a grooming appointment. The same vaccination policy will be enforced.

Cancellation Policy

Early pick up without at least 48 hours notice will result in charges for the entire scheduled reservation. Reservation extensions may result in a late charge of $20.00 per day per pet. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to scheduled reservation date and time. Failure to do so may result in a 1-day boarding charge per pet.

Please note that we are not responsible for pre-existing medical conditions including allergies that worsen while boarding.
